Dipl.Ing. Joseph Tomecek, sr., CEO of Clean @Intelligent Technologies, SE /Societas Europea/, Bratislava, Slovak Republic
I would like to give you a feedback from my participation at the SET PLAN 2016 conference in Bratislava during the Slovak presidency of the Council of the EU.
I attended a substantial part of the conference program and based on that I highly value the professional and comprehensive talks of Mr. Šefčovič, vice-president of the European Commission for the Energy Union, Mr. Carlos Moedas, Commissioner for R&I at EC and a highly professional moderation of Panel V. Efficient energy and Smart cities chaired by Ms. Marie Donnelly complemented with a theoretical and systemic expertise.
Based on my over 20 years of experience in Research, Development and Innovation linked to ready-made complete delivery of the platform offered to customers by my company I considered appropriate to give a short speech at the Panel V. (You can see my contribution below)
Looking at the EU ambitions as presented at the conference I consider appropriate to offer a cross-sectional technological support based on ACIEET elements which can be widely used in EU and can be integrated into EU´s strategy of research, development and innovations.
Panel V. Efficient energy and smart cities
Chair Marie Donnelly
Discussion Contribution
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, dear colleagues,
I would like to share a good idea for Smart city and Smart building concepts also applicable in reconstructed old buildings.
My name is Joseph Tomecek, senior, I am the CEO of Clean @Intelligent Technologies, SE /Societas Europea/, Bratislava, Slovak republic.
Our company offers an Advanced Clean Intelligent Energy Efficient Technology /short ACIEET/ which provides synergy of IT solutions and technologically advanced products.
ACIEET as a flexible cross-sectional technological supporting platform for protection of health and life provides the following:
- user comfort, thanks to a control system using IT applications, GSM data transmission, internet and an automated environment stabilization system;
- while air pollution is one of the most serious environmental risks, our technology continually prevents from traffic fumes, pollution from nuclear power station accidents and other risks – clean air for human health;
- use of renewable sources with highly energy-efficient inverter technologies in heat pumps;
- stabilization of internal temperature to +22°C;
Expanding the use of a platform like ACIEET could also lead to form flexible international cooperation and continue in research, development and innovations.
You can find more information on our website www.ACIEET.EU and on the poster
at this conference during poster sessions.
Finally, my idea also includes a suggestion to the EU authorities to include this advanced technology to its Environment protection programs, and also apply this platform in a Joint Research Center using direct EU funding of the ACIEET project and its further research, development and innovation to make it sustainable.
This could be an effective way of EU citizens´ health and life protection.
Accepting this offer may bring an added value to the ambitious EU goals in increase of energy efficiency presented at the SET Plan 2016.
In context with the OECD and WHO ´s latest report and warnings, with millions of premature deaths and financial loss in billions every year this advanced platform could synergically decrease the economic consequences of air pollution increase on the EU dwellers´ health and life.
EU can achieve a fast comprehensive synergy in development of technological equipment segments for Smart cities, also applicable in reconstructed old buildings.
A conceptual global foundation of a technological support of equipment development and manufacturing for EU countries will be another element of the synergy.
From this informative presentation it is evident that the globally oriented product – ACIEET has been developed as a real product with real references of several implementations in the past 6 years, for example:
A project co-funded by EU „A Technical and technological platform of a research in integrated management system of human settlement infrastructure“
- Centre for development of residential infrastructure of the knowledge economy in Bratislava, Slovak Republic, implemented in 2010 – 2011 at ITMS 262 401 20002
The innovated version can be repeatedly implemented anywhere in EU as a model laboratory, a place for further research and development in this field.
Thank you very much for your attention.
